British Tea Traditions

"Thank Heaven I was not born before the coming of tea" exclaimed the 18th century English clergyman and author Reverend Sydney Smith. Luckily for the Reverend, tea drinking in Britain was established in the 17th century, and since then, has been an integral part of the way of life. British firms have also been at the heart of the global tea trade.

Today, Ahmad Tea of London upholds this heritage with superb English teas that are enjoyed by discerning tea drinkers all over the world.
