Our Earl Grey is a quintessentially English brew, perfect for those seeking an elegant, sophisticated cuppa. Soothing yet uplifting, it is one of our customers' highest-rated teas.

To create this distinctive blend, our Tea Masters balance teas from the renown tea regions in Sri Lanka and India, to give the brew its lively, brisk flavour. This is complemented with a touch of exotic citrus from our exclusive bergamot flavouring. The larger leaves used in our loose leaf Earl Grey result in a more refined flavour, perfect for the discerning tea-lover.

The tea in each caddy or packet is foil-wrapped for freshness, ensuring you the perfect cuppa every time. Our Earl Grey’s bold yet elegant flavours are easy to appreciate throughout the day. Simply add a slice of lemon for a fragrant, aromatic infusion, or enjoy with a splash of milk.

Earl Grey tea was named in honour of 19th Century British Prime Minister Charles Grey. It’s believed Grey received a gift of tea from China that was flavoured with bergamot oil. The distinctive blend became so popular that he asked British tea merchants to recreate it. It's been a firm favourite around the world ever since and we think our version makes a fine tribute.

Black tea flavoured with a high dose of bergamot

The best earl grey

I found this when we were struggling to find loose leaf earl grey after a local shop closed down. My husband loves it and everyone who has visited it and loves it too. We’ve given a few packets away over the last year or two. Buy it when you can as it often sells out. Or rather don’t buy it, and leave more for us 🤪

The Rich Earl Grey

Dear tea lover, the fact that you are reading this review is a testimonal to your good taste. I have been introduced to the Ahmad tea at a diner at a collegue's in Houston (Thank you Allan), and I live in Belgium. He served the tea after dinner and i must have been drinking too much of it, as he gave me a 500 g of the Rich Earl grey. I absolutely love it. For me it is the best. When i have it i my home office or when i work at location, it brings an aroma in the room. I always get compliment form it.

Thanks you Ahmad Tea for your exquiste products.

PS: loose tea is as sustainable as we can make a tea cup - use a stainless steel sieve to allow the full aroma to be released

Tried many but always comeback to this!

This tea is just so good. They only thing that makes me try other’s is zero packaging alternatives but the flavour just doesn’t compare.

A great cup of tea.

Best tea I've drank

I have been drinking Earl Grey for many year's and this is the best loose leaf I've had. Very full flavour and the bergamot is very balanced and authentic. I usually brew on a very low heat for 4 minutes. Strain into cup and a drop of milk. Perfect. I've made strong brews and used in cakes. Very tasty.
