At Ahmad Tea, the Tea Gardens are at the very heart of our business. The utmost care is taken to pick only the top two leaves and bud, where the nutrients are most concentrated, for the best-tasting tea.
In the Tea Gardens of Sri Lanka, many of the tea pickers are women, who often start their day with a prayer for a good day’s picking. Their passion and commitment is truly inspiring.

The Tea Rooms are the jewel in the Ahmad Tea Crown. It’s where the magic really happens.
Ahmad Tea Tasters, taste as many as 500 cups of tea each day. Grading and blending to determine quality and consistency. When contemplating different blends, they consider the compatibility of different teas with one another, like an artist creating colour.
They travel the world, visiting tea gardens in places such as India, Sri Lanka, Kenya and China to discover the finest teas.
