There are many differences between these teas in terms of the characteristics of the tea blends, but perhaps the most noticeable difference is the amount of bergamot used. Bergamot is an essential oil that gives a citrus fragrance and is used to flavour Earl Grey and English Tea No.1, although there is more bergamot in Earl Grey. English Breakfast Tea has no bergamot but is a blend of fine quality teas. Bergamot is a critus fruit, so you may notice a slight citrusy flavour.
Of course the only real way to discover the difference between the blends is to taste them yourself.
