Our tea blends are crafted with local communities, working together to support their needs.
The tea communities make our tea blends. So, we work with local partners to get to the heart of how we can support them.
From nutrition and education, to long-term climate resilience, we focus on making a difference that lasts.
Women are the backbone of our tea gardens, making up 75% of the workforce, handpicking the quality leaves for our blends. At Ahmad Tea, we prioritise their health and wellbeing.
By focusing on women’s health, we’re making a positive impact on the communities that bring you the finest tea.
In Assam, India, we’re working with the Child in Need Institute (CINI) to support tea plantation workers and their families.

Community Empowerment
Encouraging local participation and leadership, especiall among women and children. This three-year program aims to create safer, healthier, and more empowered communities in Assam’s tea gardens.
Many women in the tea gardens do not have access to female sanitation products and are using home-made solutions. This often leads to infections and discomfort during the working day. We are providing community-led workshops to address female health needs and create safe spaces for women to come together.
